Scaling

The term 'Scaling ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' A method by which Forest Service personnel, or an independent third-party to measures the volume of timber actually removed as a result of a timber sale. Scaled sales are a timber sales that use scaling for billing purchasers at the stumpage price for the timber cut'.
